Seeing Through God’s Eyes

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about perspective.  How much it shapes our lives, and how different everything looks when we choose to see it the way God does.

We all go through moments that make us question, worry, or wonder, “Why this? Why now?” But what if, instead of reacting from fear or frustration, we took a step back and asked, “God, what are You showing me through this?”

That one question changes everything.

When we begin to see life through God’s eyes, we stop looking at things as random or meaningless. We start to recognize that even in the most uncomfortable moments, God is still working, still moving pieces into place, still turning things for good, still writing a story that will make sense later.

Learning to See Differently

I’m learning that God’s perspective isn’t about pretending everything is fine. It’s about trusting that there’s purpose in every season.

What looks like a closed door might be His protection.
What feels like a delay might actually be divine timing.
What feels like loss could be making space for something better.

When you see as God sees, you stop fighting every change. You stop comparing your path to someone else’s. You stop calling things “bad” before you’ve even seen what God will do with them.

It’s not easy, but it’s freeing.

Every Challenge Is an Opportunity

I’ve walked through seasons that made no sense at the time. Times I prayed for open doors and heard silence. Times I thought I had failed when really, God was just redirecting me.

Looking back, I can honestly say: every challenge was an opportunity for God to show Himself strong.

He never wastes pain. He never forgets His promises. And when we choose to look through His eyes, eyes that see victory before the battle even begins,  it changes how we show up.

You start to wake up expecting good things. You stop being so afraid of what’s ahead. You start to see your life, not as a collection of problems, but as a series of moments where God can move.

Choosing Heaven’s View

Faith is a kind of sight. It’s not ignoring what’s in front of you, but rather,  it’s seeing beyond it. It’s believing that even when life looks messy, God still has a plan, and His view is much higher than ours.

When you live from that place, you stop needing all the answers. You stop panicking when things don’t go your way. You rest more. You breathe easier.

That’s the peace that comes from seeing through His eyes.

My Prayer This Month

As we step into October, my prayer is simple:

“Lord, help me to see what You see.
Help me to see the beauty, the lessons, and the victory hidden in every situation.”

If you can hold on to that, it changes the way you move through life. You begin to see blessings where you used to see burdens. You begin to see growth where you once only saw loss. And you begin to live with quiet confidence that no matter what happens.  God’s got this.

Because from His point of view, victory isn’t coming; it’s already done.
